81 Cherokee Laredo - "Midnite"

Specs:

• 1981 Cherokee Laredo 4-door
• 360 V8 (0.030 over) 
• 2 barrel carb. 
• TF 727 auto tranny. 
• Manual hubs. 
• Purchased new in the spring of 1981, still totally stock. 
• Current mileage 137,000
• 33x12.5 tires - 8" wheels

Tech History:

The only major work that has ever been done is an engine rebuild in 1987 due to a broken rod bearing.She never stopped running while I tried for weeks to to diagnose the God awful noise coming from the engine compartment. I R&R'ed the engine and had it rebuilt by Rebuilt Engine and Machine Shop on S. Raritan. I still have a bucket of leftover parts which she must not need. 

Trail History:

She has taken me across the US, to Yellowstone twice, to Monument Valley and the north rim of the Grand Canyon, to Bryce Canyon and Zion and almost to the arctic circle in Canada and always got me back home.
